2016 November

In November, Chaplains Leslie Love and Cara Strauch and Marian Kubiak from Child Protective Services joined us to talk about the path that our quilts take when they leave our hands. They spoke about the necessity of taking care of victims of tragedy and that our gifts were a warmly received comfort. The Chaplains are ordained clergy working with law enforcement to provide post traumatic event counseling and other services. Kubiak also spoke about the need for foster parents and a new Extended Foster Care Program for children in foster care who have aged out, but are still in need of assistance.
