2016 September

In September we were visited by Lisa McKissick, the Tool Time Lady, to be shown a variety of quilting apparatus that could make our quilting life easier. From tube turners to fabric printed in two inch strips, we learned about tools and their often hidden uses (do you remember what the ball on a seam ripper is for?).  Alternative uses such as fabric folders for a ruler were shown and several helpful templates to create unusual pieces like hexagons and curves were presented. We were also given a journey through the art of Lisa, who is a talented modern quilter.
